The introduction of the Da Vinci surgical robot at Sapporo Heart Center has provided more possibilities for minimally invasive surgery. The combination of the console, bedside robotic arm system, and imaging system allows for a natural extension of the surgeon's eyes and hands. The high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) camera expands the scope of endoscopic surgery, enhances surgical precision, and reduces the physical burden on patients undergoing surgery.
