Wuhan Asia General Hospital, located on Jiangcheng Avenue by Taizi Lake, officially opened on November 11, 2018.

This comprehensive hospital is built according to Class A Tertiary Hospital standards and is recognized as a designated hospital for medical insurance in Wuhan. The hospital focuses on developing elite teams in areas such as cardiovascular diseases, precision oncology, surgical disciplines (orthopedics, general thoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, urology), obstetrics and gynecology, critical care, and blood purification. It employs a multidisciplinary collaborative treatment model, integrating medical care, education, research, prevention, health care, emergency services (including ground-air emergency support), and rehabilitation, forming a large clinical medical center.

The hospital covers an area of approximately 25,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 240,000 square meters. It has 1,100 inpatient beds, 23 surgical operating rooms, 13 interventional catheterization rooms (including 3 DSA hybrid operating rooms), and 108 ICU beds. Facilities include an elevated helicopter landing pad, sky bridges, a rooftop garden, green corridors, and garden-style patient rooms, facilitating emergency care, evacuation, treatment, and relaxation for patients.

From an aerial view, the hospital features a large UFO-shaped elevated helicopter landing pad, which is the largest air rescue helicopter pad in Central China. The orange air rescue helicopters, akin to aerial "120," are equipped with professional medical equipment such as ventilators and defibrillator monitors, ensuring stable vital signs during rapid patient transport. This aerial system collaborates with ground ambulances to create a comprehensive emergency rescue network, effectively addressing urgent rescue situations when ambulances cannot reach.

The hospital also features dedicated emergency elevators that provide direct access to surgical operating rooms, interventional rooms, intensive care units, and emergency resuscitation areas, optimizing critical rescue time.

To protect patient privacy, the hospital's entrances and emergency departments feature independent consultation rooms. To eliminate radiation hazards, all operating rooms and ICU wards are equipped with radiation protection on floors and walls. Each ICU room is designed as a single unit with a purified air conditioning system (laminar flow purification), ensuring optimal parameters for air flow, temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and pressure to create the best recovery environment for critically ill patients.

Additionally, the hospital collaborates with renowned domestic and international universities, such as Bordeaux University in France, establishing a joint academic committee and clinical expert committee comprised of experts from both China and abroad. It fully integrates European specialist physician training systems, continuously developing its core clinical physicians. The hospital has invited a senior nursing expert team from Japan to manage nursing operations, significantly enhancing nursing standards. It pioneers a complete medical care system that transitions from acute care to chronic care and long-term care services, providing high-level, personalized services to patients. It also establishes public R&D platforms and translational medicine centers, aiming to quickly convert research outcomes into commercially viable products or innovative technologies to benefit a wide range of patients.

Wuhan Asia General Hospital stands alongside Asia Heart Hospital and Xinjiang Hospital of Wuhan Asia Heart Disease Hospital, forming a tripartite alliance that radiates nationwide, offering high-level diagnostic and medical care services. This marks a new breakthrough for the Asia Industry Group in expanding its comprehensive hospital business.

The team at Asia Heart will continue to uphold the twelve guiding principles of "respect, understanding, support, seriousness, integrity, and responsibility," creating a new chapter for public health. Wuhan Asia General Hospital aims to leverage its advantages as a regionally leading medical center with international standards, providing patients with professional medical services that align with global practices and a strong cultural emphasis on care, thereby effectively promoting the health industry in China and achieving new leaps in development.
