Dr. Liang Tao Group Medical Director
Liang Tao has three decades of clinical experience in cardiovascular surgery. In 2010, he was awarded the "Golden Scalpel Award" by the Chinese Association for Cardiovascular Surgeons. He specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures, including complex congenital heart disease, minimally invasive valve surgery, coronary artery disease, macrovascular disease, cardiac tumours, and heart transplantation. Dr. Tao has also pioneered unique techniques for unicuspid, bicuspid, and tricuspid aortic valve reconstruction, earning widespread acclaim from cardiovascular experts in China and internationally.

Dr. Yan graduated from Peking University Health Science Center with a Doctorate in Internal Medicine (Cardiovascular Medicine). She has 29 years of clinical cardiovascular experience, including 19 years of interventional treatment experience in coronary artery disease.
Dr. Yan specialises in the clinical treatment of coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, hyperlipidaemia, and complex/critical cardiovascular conditions. She has particularly in-depth expertise in interventional diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, and has led or participated in over 12,500 complex interventional procedures, including treatment of left main coronary artery disease, arterial calcification, and chronic total occlusions. She is also one of China’s first cardiovascular clinicians to utilize cutting-edge coronary imaging and functional techniques, leveraging tools such as intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography, and fractional flow reserve to diagnose complex coronary lesions, optimize percutaneous coronary interventions, and improve patient outcomes.
